3-Colour Desert Camo
Introduced in early 90's the 3-Color Desert pattern was created as a response for a need to equip a large number of US Army combat staff in camouflage uniforms suitable for desert warfare following the invasion of Kuwait by Iraqi Forces in 1990. Being in a full production by 1991 (although a very small number of examples are known to have reached the US forces during actual Desert Storm) and consisting of beige and earth brown horizontal waves on a sandy background, the general purpose 3-color camouflage design proved to be more suitable to sparsely vegetated, sandy regions, and was since copied and adopted by many nations around the world. The UK based Military 1st offers range of clothing and accessories in this renowned pattern, including quality combat shirts and cargo trousers, caps, hats and other headwear, as well as shorts and tactical bags, from a number of manufacturers including Helikon.
