ACU Digital Camo

Primarily applied in the U.S. Army's Combat Uniform (ACU), the Universal Camouflage Pattern (UCP, also known as ACUPAT or "digicam"), was developed as a "universal camouflage" that works equally in all surroundings regardless desert, woodland/jungle or urban environment, which would remove the need to issue specialized camo clothing for soldiers deployed to different geographical areas. Being composed of a slate gray, desert sand and foliage green pixel pattern, which becomes darker or lighter depending on exposure to sunlight, the ACU camo was however not well received and withdrawn after several years in service.
