Helikon ECWCS Jacket with Liner Generation II
The Extended Cold Weather Clothing System (ECWCS) is a protective clothing system developed in the 1980s by the United States Army Natick Soldier Research, Development and Engineering Centre.
This quality and durable ECWCS Generation II jacket is the perfect choice for all weather conditions. It features special 3-layer fabric system that is waterproof, insulates and gives an ideal protection against wind, providing moisture infiltration, evaporation and promotes ventilation at the same time. Moreover it goes with warm and soft removable fleece liner in matching colour.
Presented parka features cobra style hood with drawstring that goes with adjustable nylon pulls. The hood itself can be concealed in the collar and secured there through the system of several Velcro patches. There is sturdy two-way, full-front slide fastener that, when fully fastened, can provide full-face protection, leaving only the eyes uncovered. The zipper is covered with double storm flap with snap fasteners. The jacket has Raglan sleeves with flap-covered pockets on each sleeve with a hook and loop closure, armpit ventilation zippers with snaps, and double reinforced elbows as well as adjustable Velcro wrist cuffs. Moreover there are two hidden slash hand warmer pockets along with two cargo pockets on the lower front of a jacket that features large flaps with double hook and loop closure. There are also two hidden map pockets at the upper front with Velcro closures which can be opened without unzipping the parka, and a snow skirt to prevent snow and wind from entering underneath the jacket. Fully removable fleece attaches to the jacket with a zipper, has a high collar, two pockets and drawstring bottom, and can be used on its own if necessary.
Perfect choice for police, military and EMT as well as for fishing, hunting and a lot of other outdoor activities.
We recommend that you purchase a size down from your normal size to ensure that you get a good fitted look.
All the actual measurements given on the site as "armpit to armpit x 2" refer to the measurements of the garment and not the size it will fit. The best way of checking if an item will fit is to measure a similar garment you have which fits well and compare the measurements.
When we give the "Armpit to armpit x 2" on an item it is measured directly at the top of the side seams (armpit to armpit) laid flat, then the measurement is doubled, giving the circumference.
If we state that an item is labelled "to fit xx" / XXcm" please check this against your own measurements.
